Location: the hotel was very close to beach and walking distance to town and the restaurants, bars, and shops. Moreover, it was about 0 mins walk from Hokitika Beach.

For us it was ideal!

The room was air-conditioned, there were climate control and a storage space...

The property was fairly clean with knowledgeable and excellent staff. The room was functional and great-sized, and with a spectacular view on the back garden. We greatly enjoyed very comfy beds. The location in a nice quiet area was perfect and there were a supermarket and shops nearby. This hotel met needs in every way, totally recommend.

Comfortable stop close to the glow worms. The ground-level accommodation was perfect for our family, and the beach was just a stone's throw away. The pool and playground kept the kids entertained, and we enjoyed the personal attention from the owners.

Another drawback was the pool, which needs resurfacing and some tidying up. However, the close proximity to the spectacular beach made up for it.

Staff very helpful & rooms spacious & well fitted out

I had a delightful stay at this lovely motel near the beach. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There was a great outdoor seating area where I could relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The motel is conveniently located close to town, making it easy to explore the area. The owners were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this motel for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation.

As a one night stop in our case it was ideal in our case and was very comfortable.

Convenient location between Greymouth and Franz Josef with good heating. Near the water, cute cabin with all necessary amenities and a breakfast patio. Friendly staff and cleanliness. Informative owner, helpful with laundry and sightseeing suggestions.

Plenty of space in cottage. Convenient for beach and "Gloworm Grotto". Staff very helpful in giving directions to local attractions.

Slightly disappointed that the location wasn't quite "Beachside" in that there were houses between the motel and the beach so no sea views from the location.

Lovely location, very close to the beach and to the glowworm dell, not far from the town centre.

I recently stayed at a budget motel near the beach and it was a great experience. The location was perfect, with the sea just a stone's throw away. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met. the motel was located in a quiet area, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. it was a wonderful stay at a budget-friendly accommodation.

The kitchen was a bit small with limited bench space.

The location turned out to be great, near to beach, sunset, shops, beach and town, and Hokitika township.

I had a great stay at this hotel! the location was fantastic - right by the beach and close to the town center. Secondly, the rooms were comfortable with a good bed and fully equipped kitchen facilities. Lastly, the staff were attentive and helpful, providing information on nearby places of interest. Additionally, the prices were reasonable for what was offered.
